Suppressor Timing – Quick Guide

What is Timing?

Timing ensures that the suppressor is properly aligned. Proper timing = best performance and safe alignment.

Every Revolver Seal suppressor ships with all shims pre-installed, totaling 370°, so perfect timing is always possible.

Shim System Overview

Each suppressor includes three shim sizes

  • Shim 110°

  • Shim 230°

  • Shim 350°

Shims can be removed or rearranged to achieve perfect timing.

Step-by-Step Timing Instructions

Step 1:

Thread the Suppressor On (As Shipped)

  • Thread the suppressor onto the barrel with all shims installed

  • Hand-tighten until it stops

  • Check the final alignment

Step 2:

Check the Timing

  • If timing is correct → you’re done

  • If the suppressor is not aligned, adjustment is needed (as shown in the image)

Step 3:

Adjust Shim Stack

  • Remove the suppressor from gun

  • Remove shims to change the angle

  • Reinstall and check timing again

Shim values:

  • Small adjustment → Shim 110°

  • Medium adjustment → Shim 230°

  • Large adjustment → Shim 350°

Step 4:

Fine-Tune

  • Reinstall on to gun after each adjustment

  • Repeat until perfectly aligned

Step 5:

Verify Final Alignment

  • Suppressor should stop at correct orientation

  • Do not force past hand-tight

  • Proper timing achieved ✔️
